- Monitor daily construction activities and provide regular updates to the Construction Manager on site progress.
- Supervise site works to ensure they follow approved drawings, contract requirements, work procedures and method statements.
- Conduct inspections at various stages of construction, including piling, structural, architectural, external and infrastructure works.
- Track work progress and highlight any delays, defects, incomplete items or deviations to the relevant management team.
- Participate in site coordination, progress and technical meetings with contractors and project stakeholders.
- Ensure construction activities comply with relevant local authority requirements, regulations and approved standards.
- Monitor site safety practices and ensure work is carried out according to the approved safety plan.
- Perform regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and ensure proper workmanship.
- Identify site issues, outstanding works and potential risks, and assist in recommending suitable corrective or mitigation actions.
- Check that construction materials delivered and used on site meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Assist with verifying contractors’ completed works for progress claims and site valuation purposes.
- Monitor and maintain records of site testing, inspection results and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate daily site records, including photographs, reports, correspondence, inspection forms and other project documentation.
- Raise and follow up on any non-compliance or defective works with contractors until the required corrective actions are completed.
- Perform other site-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
2. Good team spirit, self-motivated and able to work independently.
3. Willing to work long hours.
4. Preferably with working experience in the construction industry.
5. Able to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
6. Good command in English for both oral and written.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
