Our client is an established organization seeking an experienced professional to support and improve business-critical applications, ensuring system stability, smooth operations, and reliable performance.

What you’ll do:

• Manage production incidents, investigate root causes, and implement fixes.
• Develop application enhancements and improve system performance.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Write complex SQL queries to investigate issues and meet business needs.
• Work with Java code and shell scripts to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Coordinate system changes and communicate updates to technical teams and business stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, SQL, and shell scripting.
• Experience with Sybase or DB2 databases.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

This is a contract role based in Singapore.
