Maltem Asia is currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Monitoring Analyst for our client in the Education domain.

Role: IT Infrastructure Monitoring Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the availability and performance of data centre services and supported IT infrastructure.
• Perform daily monitoring of scheduled batch jobs.
• Identify failed or incomplete batch jobs and notify the relevant job owners.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and follow up on failed jobs until resolution.
• Schedule and execute batch jobs, including approved ad hoc requests.
• Monitor infrastructure alerts and escalate incidents according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate monitoring logs and incident records.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, application and support teams to resolve operational issues.
• Track outstanding incidents and ensure timely follow-up.
• Prepare operational status reports and highlight recurring issues or service risks.

Requirements

• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in IT operations, infrastructure monitoring or batch job monitoring.
• Understanding of servers, scheduled jobs and incident management processes.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and operational dashboards.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow technical procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts or provide extended operational coverage if required.
