Our client is a fast-growing AI-driven fintech company building next-generation digital products for the financial services industry. They leverage machine learning and modern cloud technologies to deliver highly personalized user experiences at scale.

We're looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the backend infrastructure powering AI recommendation systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology team and play a key role in building and scaling its backend infrastructure from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of core engineering initiatives, shape technical architecture and contribute directly to the development of products that will drive the company's next phase of growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building recommendation systems.
• Experience serving ML models in production using Kubernetes, Docker, Ray Serve.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and scalable backend architecture.
• Familiarity with MLOps and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Experience with recommendation pipelines, feature stores, model serving, ranking engines, or A/B testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of LLM inference optimization (e.g. TensorRT, Flash Attention, Quantization) is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
