About The Role

Hasbul Brothers is looking for a commercially minded and performance-driven Marketing Manager to lead the Marketing Department and build an integrated marketing operating system across campaigns, paid acquisition, CRM/lifecycle marketing, creative, content and customer acquisition.

This is not a role that focuses only on social media posting, content production or branding.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for translating business direction into measurable Marketing outcomes across the funnel:

Demand → Qualified Leads → Registrations → Attendance → Qualified Opportunities

The role also carries shared accountability for Marketing-attributed pipeline and revenue contribution, while Sales remains responsible for follow-up, closing and collected revenue.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary Marketing team covering:

  • Performance Marketing / Paid Ads
  • CRM & Lifecycle Marketing
  • Video & Content Production
  • Videography
  • Copywriting
  • Graphic Design
  • Creative Content

What You Will Be Responsible For1. Marketing Strategy & Department Leadership

  • Develop annual, quarterly and monthly Marketing strategies aligned with Management direction and business priorities.
  • Translate strategy into measurable priorities, campaigns, channel plans and department targets.
  • Establish clear ownership across Campaign, Creative Design and Creative Content teams.
  • Identify capability, resource, process and performance gaps.
  • Ensure the Marketing Department operates as one integrated commercial function rather than separate creative or channel teams.

2. Integrated Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Own the master Marketing campaign calendar.
  • Lead planning for major campaigns, programmes, seminars, events and launches.
  • Define:
  • campaign objectives;
  • target audience;
  • funnel;
  • offer and messaging;
  • channel mix;
  • budget;
  • tracking requirements;
  • creative requirements; and
  • campaign timeline.
  • Ensure campaigns are launch-ready before going live.
  • Conduct structured post-campaign reviews and translate learnings into the next campaign cycle.

3. Demand Generation & Funnel Performance

  • Own Marketing performance from demand generation through qualified opportunities.
  • Monitor:
  • lead volume;
  • lead quality;
  • registrations;
  • attendance;
  • no-shows;
  • qualified opportunities; and
  • funnel leakage.
  • Identify where prospects are dropping out of the funnel.
  • Coordinate corrective action across Marketing, CRM, Sales and relevant teams.
  • Ensure Marketing success is measured through meaningful business outcomes—not vanity metrics alone.

4. Paid Acquisition & Performance Marketing Governance

  • Lead strategic direction for paid acquisition together with the Performance Marketing Executive.
  • Review paid-media performance including:
  • CPL;
  • CPQL;
  • Cost Per Registration;
  • Cost Per Attendee;
  • CAC; and
  • ROAS where reliable attribution is available.
  • Review advertising spend, budget pacing and performance trends.
  • Monitor testing plans, audience performance, winning and losing creatives and creative fatigue.
  • Recommend budget reallocation and campaign optimisation based on performance evidence.

5. CRM & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Govern database segmentation, nurturing, lead scoring, reactivation and lifecycle marketing.
  • Develop stronger utilisation of existing databases and event audiences.
  • Reduce unnecessary dependency on paid advertising for every campaign.
  • Ensure post-event leads and audiences are properly processed.
  • Strengthen Marketing-to-Sales handoff.
  • Ensure customer journeys and next actions are traceable.

6. Campaign Creative & Copy Leadership

  • Translate campaign objectives into clear creative and copy briefs.
  • Guide teams on:
  • hooks;
  • angles;
  • messaging;
  • offer framing;
  • proof;
  • CTA; and
  • customer insight.
  • Use funnel and paid-media performance data to request new variations and improvements.
  • Balance speed, testing volume, brand quality and commercial accuracy.

7. Creative Design & Brand Governance

  • Lead design priorities through the Creative Design Unit.
  • Maintain consistent visual and brand standards.
  • Establish clear briefs, priorities and service levels for artwork requirements.
  • Manage cross-department creative requests without creating conflicting reporting lines.
  • Resolve workload and priority conflicts across Marketing resources.

8. Creative Content Strategy

  • Lead overall platform and content direction.
  • Ensure organic content supports:
  • brand authority;
  • audience relevance;
  • organic demand;
  • campaign support; and
  • business objectives.
  • Review content themes, formats, narratives and performance.
  • Ensure content is not produced merely to achieve posting or output counts.

9. Seminar & Event Marketing

  • Own Marketing readiness and audience-generation strategy for major seminars, programmes and events.
  • Coordinate:
  • audience targets;
  • segmentation;
  • registration funnels;
  • reminder campaigns;
  • event creative;
  • content; and
  • post-event reactivation.
  • Work closely with Program and Sales to monitor registrations, attendance, no-shows, qualified prospects and downstream opportunities.
  • Ensure major events have proper pre-event, event-day and post-event Marketing plans.

10. Marketing Analytics & Commercial Reporting

  • Maintain Management visibility of the entire Marketing funnel.
  • Analyse performance beyond impressions, followers and engagement.
  • Monitor channel efficiency, lead quality, conversion and Marketing-attributed pipeline.
  • Establish reliable attribution and source-of-truth practices with CRM, Sales and Finance.
  • Present Management with clear analysis of:

What happened → Why it happened → Risk / Root Cause → What should happen next.

11. Budget, Martech & Vendor Management

  • Develop Marketing budget recommendations.
  • Manage approved Marketing budgets and campaign pacing.
  • Monitor budget variance and escalate material risks.
  • Govern approved Marketing tools, systems, vendors and agencies.
  • Ensure campaign expenditure and key Marketing decisions are properly documented.
  • Operate within the Company's approved Delegation of Authority.

12. People Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead and develop team members across the Marketing Department.
  • Establish clear role priorities and performance expectations.
  • Conduct regular:
  • one-to-one discussions;
  • coaching;
  • workload reviews;
  • KPI reviews; and
  • performance follow-up.
  • Identify and address underperformance promptly.
  • Build team capability and reduce single-person dependency across critical Marketing functions.

  • Strong equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
  • Preferably 5 years or more of relevant Marketing experience.

  • Experience within training, education, seminars/events, consulting or high-ticket/service businesses is an advantage.
  • Management-level working knowledge of paid media, CRM/lifecycle marketing, creative/content workflows, analytics and attribution is expected even where specialists perform day-to-day execution.
