Job Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso-based beverages and other café drinks according to Koffie Lane recipes and SOP.
• Operate espresso machine, grinder and other bar equipment.
• Perform basic espresso extraction and milk steaming.
• Prepare and plate desserts according to company recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure drinks and desserts are consistent in taste, portion and presentation.
• Take customer orders and process payments through the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages to customers.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area when required.
• Rotate to the dishwashing station when required and assist with washing cups, plates, cutlery and bar equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organised bar, dessert and service area.
• Perform daily preparation, restocking, opening and closing duties.
• Monitor ingredients and stock levels and replenish items before they run out.
• Work closely with other front-of-house and kitchen team members.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and company SOP at all times.

Requirements

• Barista, café or F&B experience is preferred.
• Fresh candidates with a good attitude and willingness to learn are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and milk steaming is an advantage.
• Comfortable handling barista, dessert, cashier and customer service duties.
• Must be willing to rotate between different workstations, including dishwashing when needed.
• Friendly, presentable and comfortable communicating with customers.
• Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Disciplined, punctual and responsible.
• Able to follow recipes and SOP consistently.
• Able to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods.
• Good teamwork and communication.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays according to schedule.

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
