KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFOR SOURCING EXECUTIVE

- Identify and evaluate new suppliers for components, raw materials, andservices
- Conduct supplier assessments together with QA teams
- Ensure suppliers meet standards like ISO 13485
- Request and compare quotations (RFQs)
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts
- Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality
- Ensure timely sourcing of materials to support production schedules
- Monitoring lead times and delivery performance
- Identify supply risks (single-source suppliers, long lead times,geopolitical issues)
- Handle disruptions proactively
- Track supplier KPIs (quality, delivery, cost)
- Work closely with cross functional departments: Engineering(specifications), Quality Assurance (supplier audit), production and planning (materialneeds)
- New product introduction (NPI support) in source new materials andensure suppliers are ready before mass production
- Track cost savings and sourcing performance
