JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTS & ADMINISTRATION
Job Summary
Responsible for managing the company’s full set of accounts and day-to-day administrative activities. The role involves handling accounting records, payments, collections, invoicing, documentation, and general office administration to ensure smooth and accurate business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Set Accounts
- Handle the company’s full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and issue invoices, quotations, credit notes and debit notes.
- Record and maintain daily accounting transactions accurately.
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
- Process supplier invoices and arrange payments according to agreed payment terms.
- Prepare payment vouchers, payment advice and supporting documents.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and ensure accounting records are up to date.
- Monitor company cash flow and prepare cash flow updates when required.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audit and tax purposes.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and other relevant parties when required.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents and records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and management reports.
2. Administrative Duties
- Handle daily office administration and general clerical work.
- Manage company documents, correspondence and filing systems.
- Prepare purchase orders, sales orders, delivery documents and other business documentation.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, courier companies and other service providers.
- Maintain records of company purchases, sales, expenses and other administrative matters.
- Handle incoming calls, emails and general enquiries.
- Assist management with administrative tasks and ad-hoc assignments.
- Monitor office supplies and arrange purchases when necessary.
Pay: RM12.00 - RM14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18.0 per week
