Position: CSA Engineer
Work Location : Iskandar Puteri, JB

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and monitor civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) construction activities (earthworks, piling, structural steel, reinforced concrete, facade, and civil finishes) to ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, MEP teams, CSA subcontractors, and site teams to resolve interface clearances and ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and monitor technical drawings, shop drawings, structural calculations, method statements (MOS), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and material submittals.
• Monitor project progress, construction quality (QA/QC), structural safety, and compliance with local building standards (e.g., UBBL, BEM) and safety requirements.
• Identify and resolve site technical issues, structural non-conformances, and architectural coordination clashes in a timely manner.
• Conduct site inspections, hold-point checks, concrete cube/slump tests, and soil compaction tests to ensure works comply with approved standards and procedures.
• Prepare and review CSA technical reports, inspection reports, progress reports, and punch list documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with Company and Project ISO & QSHE requirements (including excavation safety and working at heights).
• Guide and supervise site supervisors, CAD/BIM technicians, and sub-contractors on site.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant site experience in civil, structural, and architectural execution for engineering/construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of structural concrete, steel fabrication/erection, architectural finishes, soil/civil works, and reading structural/architectural blueprints.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, MS Office, and relevant structural engineering software.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and site management skills.
• Able to coordinate with MEP trades and manage multiple CSA subcontractors effectively.
• Able to work independently and make sound technical decisions on site.
• Experience in industrial building, high-tech manufacturing, or data center construction projects is a strong added advantage.

Working Days:
Monday - Saturday (8.00am to 5.00pm)
