About the Role

Young Education is seeking a passionate and academically strong Science Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to secondary school students following international curricula.

The successful candidate should be able to explain scientific concepts clearly, develop students' analytical and problem-solving skills, and prepare students effectively for school assessments and external examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured Science lessons to secondary school students.

• Teach relevant topics in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics according to subject expertise.

• Support students following IGCSE, IB MYP and other international curricula.

• Prepare students for school examinations, assessments and external qualifications.

• Identify students' academic weaknesses and provide targeted support.

• Develop suitable teaching materials, assignments and revision resources.

• Monitor academic progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain professional communication with students, parents and the academic team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Education or a related discipline.

• Strong academic knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics.

• Previous experience teaching secondary school Science.

• Familiarity with IGCSE and/or IB curricula is strongly preferred.

• Excellent English communication and explanation skills.

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to students with different academic abilities.

• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to student progress.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Science.

• Experience teaching IB MYP Science or IB DP Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

• Experience preparing students for international examinations.

• Prior teaching experience in international schools or established tuition centres.
