Job Summary
You will support the culinary team by preparing food items to quality standards, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safe equipment use in a fast-paced bakery environment.
Responsibilities
Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to complete assigned culinary tasks accurately
Adapt to changing business needs by working any day or shift as required
Focus on completing one task fully before moving to the next to ensure efficiency
Complete work lists assigned by Chef de Partie within the designated time frame
Ensure all food items meet quality and sanitary standards by applying "First In First Out" kitchen practices
Store all food products correctly in designated fridges and containers throughout the shift
Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards in all culinary work areas and ensure colleagues clean their stations after service
Use kitchen equipment safely and properly at all times and guide colleagues on correct usage
Preferred competencies and qualifications
At least 1 year of relevant culinary experience
Other Information
5 days work per week
