Recruitment Consultant | Specialist & Executive Search
S$2,800 to S$5,000 monthly base, depending on relevant experience and demonstrated capability, plus quarterly performance commission.

Onyx Singapore is a specialist recruitment firm established in 2018, covering Accounting & Finance, Technology and Corporate Functions. Our work includes CFO searches, senior legal appointments and regional commercial leadership roles, alongside specialist professional recruitment.
You’ll join a small team and learn through real assignments, working closely with the Director and experienced consultants. As your knowledge and judgement develop, you’ll take greater responsibility for client relationships and searches.
Our approach involves understanding the business behind a vacancy, researching the talent market and making considered recommendations. We’re looking for someone who wants to develop that expertise.
What you’ll do
Develop client relationships, understand hiring needs and win new recruitment assignments.
Research companies, map talent and approach professionals who may not be actively looking for a move.
Interview candidates, assess their experience and motivations, and prepare clear recommendations.
Manage interviews, feedback and offers through to placement.
Collaborate on shared searches while building your own market knowledge and relationships.
This is a sales role with clear activity and revenue goals. Consistent outreach and reliable follow-through are part of the work.
Who we’re looking for
Diploma or degree in any discipline.
Curiosity about how businesses operate and a willingness to research unfamiliar subjects.
Clear communication and the confidence to ask thoughtful questions.
Willingness to initiate conversations, learn business development and work through setbacks.
Personal ownership of your work, openness to feedback and a collaborative approach.
No prior recruitment experience is required. Applicants entering recruitment, transitioning from other industries or building on relevant recruitment experience are welcome.
