Job Purpose:

To lead and coordinate daily colour card and substore operations, ensuring accurate inventory records, effective stock planning, timely material preparation, proper storage and compliance with company safety and operational procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain accurate stock records for colour cards and related substore materials.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
• Record and verify all incoming, outgoing and internal stock transfers promptly.
• Arrange, label and store materials systematically to ensure traceability and easy retrieval.
• Monitor production forecasts and material requirements; highlight potential stock shortages.
• Coordinate timely preparation and issuance of materials based on production schedules.
• Oversee colour card sorting, preparation, labelling, packing and related work activities.
• Check colour codes, item descriptions, quantities and labels before material release.
• Identify damaged, incorrect or nonconforming items and report them for corrective action.
• Allocate daily work assignments and monitor team productivity and completion timelines.
• Guide and train team members on stock handling, work instructions and company SOPs
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse and other departments on material availability.
• Maintain safe storage, clear walkways, proper housekeeping and 5S practices.
• Identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
• Prepare stock movement, inventory accuracy, forecast monitoring and operational reports.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, escalate issues and support continuous improvement

Qualification:

• Preferably 1 years of experience in inventory, substore, warehouse or production support.
• Experience coordinating or leading a small operational team is an advantage.
• Able to use Microsoft Excel and basic inventory recording systems.
• Good communication, teamwork. Leadership and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
