Ipanema World Music Bar, a vibrant bar filled with global music and irresistible bar bites, is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Part Time Kitchen Assistant to join our fast-paced, music-filled kitchen! Be part of a lively team where great food, good music, and teamwork come together.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support our chefs in daily kitchen operations, assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Assist chefs with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
Help prepare and portion ingredients according to kitchen requirements.
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen and workstation.
Ensure proper food storage and follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Replenish kitchen supplies and assist with stock organization.
Support the kitchen team with other duties as required.

Good teamwork and communication skills.
Responsible, reliable, and committed to cleanliness and hygiene.
Work Environment: Primarily within our establishment, with occasional travel to sister outlets to render assistance.
Required Academic Qualifications & Experiences
No formal culinary qualification required.
Prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar kitchen would be an advantage, but training can be provided
