Job Overview

KDI Garments Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a proactive and target-oriented Sales & Marketing Assistant to support our business growth by identifying new customers and developing sales opportunities in the corporate, school, institutional and industrial sectors.

Our business focuses on garment manufacturing, uniforms, corporate apparel, workwear, printing and related textile products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for field sales activities, customer visits, lead generation and coordinating customer requirements with our internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers, including corporate companies, schools, factories and institutions.
• Conduct field visits, cold calling and other sales activities to generate new business opportunities.
• Promote the company's garment, uniform, workwear and textile-related products and services.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with potential and existing customers.
• Gather customer requirements, product specifications, estimated quantities and project timelines.
• Identify potential corporate orders, school projects and tender opportunities.
• Coordinate with the internal Business Development, Production, Design and Accounts teams to support customer requirements.
• Arrange customer meetings, product presentations and factory visits when required.
• Follow up on leads, quotations and potential orders in coordination with the relevant internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales leads and follow-up activities.
• Prepare regular sales activity reports and updates to management.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in approaching new customers and conducting face-to-face meetings.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and target-oriented.
• Willing to travel for customer visits and field marketing activities.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing or business development is an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary of RM1,700 – RM2,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
• 2% sales commission, subject to the company's commission policy.
• Official business travel expenses covered according to company policy.
