Role Description

We are looking for an Accounting Associate to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. The role will be responsible for managing accounting and tax matters for Singapore companies, including full set accounts, financial statement preparation, and tax computation and filing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle full set of accounts for assigned Singapore companies.
2. Prepare end-to-end financial statements and accounting reports.
3. Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping matters for clients.
4. Prepare tax computations and handle tax filing with IRAS.
5. Ensure accurate and timely submission of GST and ECI requirements.
6. Review accounting records and identify discrepancies or outstanding matters.
7. Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting, tax, and statutory requirements.
8. Communicate with clients regarding accounting and tax matters as required.
9. Assist with ad-hoc accounting, tax, and advisory work when required.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience handling full set accounts for Singapore companies.
• Able to prepare end-to-end financial statements independently.
• Hands-on experience in Singapore tax computation and filing with IRAS.
• Good knowledge of Singapore accounting, tax, and GST requirements.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good analytical, communication, and client management skills.
• Able to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines effectively
