Title: Sales Engineer

Reports To: Sales Manager

Industry: Sales and Service (Conveyor belting)

Location: Puchong, Malaysia

Salary offered: RM4000 – RM6000 + (commission between RM1000 – RM1500 /car allowance RM500)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and service, business development of industrial products targeting end user, OEM and distribution segments

• Dynamic team player with sharp business acumen and capability of new business development (hunter mindset)

• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities

• Proven track record demonstrating high integrity, trust and transparency whilst performing all actions

• Technically competent to able to have technical discussions with customers

• Ability to solve local customer problems by analyzing root causes and providing them with temporary as well as permanent solutions

• Hands-on and willing to roll up the sleeves to support on-site team

• Improve efficiency and maintain service levels of the highest quality toward customer satisfaction

• Demonstrate high level of customer centricity providing them with best possible solutions and service in a timely manner winning customer confidence

• Self-motivated with a growth mindset to turn adversity into opportunity and drive sales target achievement

• Proven ability to forecast monthly sales with reasonable accuracy and deliver on planned actions

• Able to travel frequently

Job Scope:

• Build and manage existing customer relationships to nurture great partnerships

Proactively develop new sales leads

• Liaise with cross-functional teams (Finance, Customer Service and Workshop)

Generate and follow-up on quotations and ensure customer satisfaction

• Ensure prompt AR Collection

Collaborate with sales colleagues to develop, grow and gain market share

• Delivering of monthly forecasted sales targets

• AR collections in collaboration with Finance

• Product-line growth actions and sales achievement aligned to Company’s strategic plans
