- Do ' whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectation in compliance with the logistics SOP, Quality, SOX and custom policies.
- Develop and implement effective shipping/storage systems, procedures to ensure compliance to import/export regulations and facilitate fast custom clearance of materials and shipments
- Build working relationship with internal and external bodies for insight into future trends development in compliance with country law and business needs
- Implement freight cost control program in monitoring finish goods and raw materials delivery costs.
- Lead and manage a team of staff pertaining to import/export and warehousing functions for all logistics factory sites in Malaysia
- Planning of logistic support to ensure timely delivery of goods; Ensure staff's compliance to CUSTOM rules and regulations, cost control and quality programs; EHS, 5S guidelines etc.
- The above describes the major duties and responsibilities and is not necessarily all inclusive which to perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
- Degree in related field with minimum 10 years experience in Logistics/Shipping management.
- Strong knowledge in custom law.
- Good communication & goverment liasison skills
