Tanggungjawab

79 Ventures Sdn Bhd (Arabina Eco Tiny Homes) specializes in the construction of tiny houses across Peninsular Malaysia. We take pride in delivering highly efficient and eco-friendly building solutions, combining innovative design with sustainable practices to meet the evolving needs of modern living.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, and executing the company’s marketing activities. The role oversees lead generation, campaign performance, customer retention, brand management, and marketing team development, while ensuring effective budget allocation and consistent brand execution. The Marketing Manager reports to the Marketing Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

1. Strategy and Planning

  • Prepare the annual marketing plan and budget, tied to the company's booking and deposit targets, and obtain approval before the period begins.
  • Decide the allocation of budget across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, website and offline activity based on measured return, not on assumption.
  • Review the channel mix each quarter against actual attribution data and reallocate spend away from channels that do not convert.
  • Maintain a rolling view of what competitors are doing in the modular and tiny-home market, and report anything that changes the company's positioning.

2. Lead Generation and Pipeline

  • Deliver the agreed monthly volume of qualified leads to the Sales team.
  • Agree the definition of a qualified lead with the Sales Manager in writing, and disqualify leads that do not meet it before handover rather than passing volume for its own sake.
  • Monitor lead response time and escalate where leads are sitting unattended.
  • Report weekly on lead volume, source and cost so that shortfalls are visible while they can still be corrected.

3. Customer Lifetime Value and Retention

  • Measure and report customer lifetime value, and the proportion of revenue derived from repeat purchases and referrals.
  • Track the ratio of customer acquisition cost to customer lifetime value, and maintain it within the level set by Management.
  • Identify the customer segments that deliver the highest lifetime value, and direct channel and budget allocation accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain customer retention and referral programmes, including post-handover engagement, repeat-purchase offers and the customer referral scheme.
  • Work with the Sales Department to ensure customer records are complete enough for lifetime value to be measured.

4. Budget and Cost Control

  • Control advertising spend within the approved budget and report variance with the reason for it.
  • Track cost per qualified lead and cost per booking by channel, and act on the difference between them.
  • Approve campaign spend within the delegated limit and escalate anything above it before committing.

5. Brand and Reputation

  • Maintain a consistent brand identity across every platform, printed material and showroom presentation.
  • Own the company's review and testimonial programme together with Sales.
  • Approve any content that carries the company name before it is published, and hold the final decision on brand-sensitive material.
  • Handle reputational issues raised on social platforms promptly, and escalate anything of consequence to the Director on the day it arises.

6. Reporting and Analysis

  • Deliver a monthly marketing performance report covering lead volume, cost per lead, cost per booking, customer lifetime value, conversion and channel contribution.
  • State in the report what changed, why it changed, and what action is recommended — the figures alone are not the report.
  • Maintain the marketing dashboard so that Management can see lead and cost performance without asking for it.

7. Team Leadership

  • Set and review the KPI scorecard of each direct report every quarter.
  • Maintain an Individual Development Plan for each member of the marketing team.
  • Build the content production system so that output does not depend on any one person being present.
  • Coach on judgement rather than correcting output, so that the same correction is not needed the following month.
