An HFT trading house is looking for a Quant Developer with a SRE focus to scale their mid to low frequency businesses, supporting a team of research and trading team based in the US. This person will be the primary escalation point for system issues and take ownership of alpha pipelines running through Asia hours, with strong Python and software engineering skills for automation and improving skills of GPU workloads.

Ideal Candidate:
– 2 to 5+ years of experience working in production engineering, systems reliability, or trading operations.
– High-level software proficiency in Python (primary), with a strong emphasis on writing modular, resilient, and performance-optimized code.
– Robust operational skills in Linux and Bash, including provisioning, live incident diagnosis, real-time monitoring, and system management under high-pressure scenarios.
– A hands-on, root-cause-driven debugging mindset; capable of tracing errors to their source and implementing permanent fixes rather than temporary patches.
– High degree of maturity and self-direction, thriving in high-stakes, mission-critical environments where system uptime is paramount.
– A pragmatic problem-solver who can easily bridge technical concepts and communicate effectively with quantitative researchers and engineers.
