Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Lead AI Engineer (Agentic AI & Applications) to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered products and software solutions that transform business requirements into measurable value using modern AI frameworks and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions to solve business challenges and generate actionable insights
  • Design, develop, and implement AI products leveraging Agentic AI frameworks for practical business applications
  • Build, deploy, and maintain AI-powered agents and applications from proof-of-concept to production readiness
  • Design and develop scalable frontend and backend software systems applying cloud application and data architecture principles
  • Automate engineering and development workflows by creating reusable components, tooling, and standardized technical practices
  • Conduct functional, integration, and performance testing to ensure delivery of high-quality AI solutions
  • Collaborate with technology teams to architect, design, and implement cloud-based AI agent applications
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions using Agile methodologies
  • Support end-to-end product lifecycle activities including roadmap planning, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
  • Define non-functional requirements and evaluate database solutions ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and drive AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience with AI, workflow, and data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Dataiku, n8n, Power Automate Copilot, Northflank, or equivalent platforms
  • Experience with Whole-of-Government AI tools such as GovTech Desk, OPUS, Airbase/Airlift, or equivalent platforms
  • Familiarity with containerisation, orchestration technologies, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with AI, software engineering, and emerging technology trends
