About the Role

Joan Tuition is looking for an experienced and dedicated English Teacher to provide online tuition for students following international school curricula.

We welcome teachers who are passionate about English education, confident in delivering online lessons, and capable of preparing engaging learning materials tailored to students' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online English lessons for primary and/or secondary school students.
• Teach international school English curricula, including English as a First Language and/or English as a Second Language.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, exercises, and homework.
• Assess students' learning progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials according to students' proficiency levels and learning needs.
• Communicate professionally with the tuition centre regarding lesson arrangements and student progress.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of English teaching experience.
• A Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, TESL/TEFL, or a related field.
• Experience teaching international school students and familiarity with international curricula, preferably Cambridge.
• Strong English communication skills, including grammar, reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to independently prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Comfortable teaching online using Google Meet, Zoom, or similar platforms.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable teaching environment.
• Responsible, punctual, organised, and committed to students' learning progress.
• Availability to teach according to Malaysia time, including weekday evenings and/or weekends.
