Key Responsibilities

• News Writing & Adaptation: Research, write, and adapt news stories and headlines specifically for social media platforms without sacrificing journalistic integrity or accuracy.
• Digital News Reporting: Transform breaking headlines, press releases, and in-depth articles into compelling multimedia news formats (infographics, video hooks, short-form text, and interactive polls).
• Editorial & Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the Editorial and Marketing teams to ensure news updates and editorial campaigns are executed accurately and on schedule.
• Audience Engagement & Community Moderation: Manage reader engagement on news posts, handle branded content requests, and facilitate meaningful news discussions across platforms.
• Performance Tracking: Analyze post reach, audience growth, and article engagement using analytics tools like FB Creator Studio and Hootsuite to refine digital coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in news writing, journalism, or media content creation.
• Tech & Analytics: Proficiency in social media publishing and tracking tools (FB Creator Studio, Hootsuite) and Google Workspace.
• Visual & Editorial Editing: Working knowledge of media editing software (Canva, graphic design, and basic video/image editing tools).
• Advertising Exposure: Familiarity with Facebook Ad Manager is a plus.
