Job Description / Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through outdoor sales, customer visits, cold calling and networking.
• Identify and acquire new customers for the company's freight forwarding services.
• Maintain and develop good relationships with existing customers and provide good account servicing.
• Follow up on sales leads, enquiries and quotations promptly to secure new business.
• Promote the company's sea freight, air freight, import/export and logistics services.
• Understand customers' shipping requirements and work closely with the Operations team to provide suitable solutions and good service.
• Monitor customers' shipping activities and identify opportunities to increase business.
• Handle customer enquiries and service issues professionally.
• Maintain proper records of sales activities, customer visits and quotations.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and prepare regular sales reports.
• Perform other sales and marketing duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Requirements

• Experience in freight forwarding, shipping or logistics is preferred.
• Experience in outdoor sales / B2B sales will be an advantage.
• Existing customer contacts or freight-forwarding sales experience will be an advantage.
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Good command of English.
• Possess own transport is preferred due to the nature of the outdoor sales role.
