Job Summary

Develop reusable React components and translate business and design requirements into functional specifications while providing architecture and best practice recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable and composable React components for cross-platform use to enhance UI consistency and efficiency
• Analyze and interpret business and design requirements into detailed functional and development specifications to guide implementation
• Provide standards, best practices, and architecture recommendations to improve code quality and maintainability
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across business, product, design, and development teams using strong communication skills
• Apply strong understanding of web fundamentals, including HTML and CSS, to build robust front-end interfaces
• Utilize proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript to develop scalable and maintainable code
• Conduct UI testing to ensure functionality, usability, and performance standards are met
• Use one or more frontend view libraries such as ReactJS, VueJS, or Angular (version 4 and above) to build dynamic user interfaces
• Publish npm packages to share reusable components and libraries within the development ecosystem
• Develop native applications, Progressive Web Apps (PWA), or hybrid apps to support diverse platforms
• Create accessible user interfaces compatible with screen readers and assistive technologies to enhance usability for all users
• Apply visual design skills to produce aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly interfaces

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Design UI wireframes and mockups to support development and user experience planning
• Use modern web build tools such as Vite, Rsbuild, Webpack, Snowpack, Rollup, Parcel, tsc, or esbuild to optimize development workflows
• Work with CSS libraries including Tailwind, PandaCSS, StyleX, styled-components, SASS/SCSS, LESS, or PostCSS to enhance styling capabilities
• Utilize analytics libraries such as Adobe Analytics or Omniture to gather user interaction data
• Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes to automate and streamline software delivery
• Contribute to open source projects to foster community engagement and improve coding skills
