About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cafe Supervisor to oversee daily floor operations, support our front-of-house team, and ensure an exceptional experience for every guest. Working closely with the Management and Head Chef, you will lead by example on the floor, maintain impeccable operational standards, and keep service running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations & Floor Supervision

• Oversee daily opening, operational, and closing procedures to ensure the shop is clean, well-stocked, and ready for service.
• Lead floor service during shifts, ensuring high standards of hospitality, speed, and accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels of front-of-house supplies, packaging, and all products, flagging restock needs to management.

Customer Service Excellence

• Welcome guests warmly, handle order inquiries, and ensure prompt resolution of customer feedback on the floor.
• Maintain deep product knowledge of our pastries, bakes, and beverage offerings to assist customers and guide staff.
• Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards across all guest and service areas.

Team Support & Leadership

• Guide, brief, and mentor junior service staff and part-timers during shifts.
• Assist management with on-the-job training for new team members regarding service workflow and menu knowledge.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive team environment on the floor.

Cashiering & POS Management

• Handle daily POS register operations and customer transactions accurately
• Ensure smooth coordination between the front-of-house service team and the pastry team.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a cafe, bakery, or F&B environment.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Reliable team player with strong supervisory and problem-solving abilities on the floor.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
