Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown is a new 5-star hotel located opposite MITEC in the lively Mont Kiara precinct, the hotel offers convenient access for both business and leisure, just 15 minutes from the city centre and positioned between Kuala Lumpur city centre and Petaling Jaya.

Role Description

The Graphic Design/Creative Content Intern is a full-time, on-site role based at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown in Greater Kuala Lumpur. This intern will support the MARCOM team by creating visual assets for digital and print channels, including social media graphics, hotel collateral, promotional materials, and presentations. Daily tasks include assisting with concept development, layout design, image editing, and basic motion or animated content where relevant, while ensuring alignment with the Hyatt brand standards and the hotel’s visual identity. The intern will collaborate with various departments to gather content requirements, prepare artwork for campaigns and events, and help maintain an organized library of design files and brand assets. The role may also involve working on photography support, simple video edits, and coordinating with external vendors for production when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to create visual content using Graphics and Graphic Design skills for digital and print platforms.
• Competence in Logo Design and Branding to support consistent hotel and campaign identities.
• Proficiency in Image Editing using relevant software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools).
• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, or equivalent applications.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to follow brand guidelines and deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Interest in hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury brands; prior portfolio or project samples will be an advantage.
• Have own transport / Able to travel daily to Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown
