As a Business Banking Product Manager at OCBC, you'll play a key role in shaping the financial solutions that help businesses thrive. You'll work closely with stakeholders to design and deliver products that meet the evolving needs of our customers, and drive growth for the bank while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and product governance standards. It's a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of business acumen, product expertise, and collaboration.

How you succeed

To succeed in this role, you'll need to stay ahead of the curve in terms of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, and continually monitor and refine existing ones. Your ability to analyze complex data, think strategically, and communicate effectively will be essential in driving business outcomes.

What you do

- Develop and execute product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction

- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver new products and services

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of the curve

- Analyse customer data and feedback to inform product development and improvement

- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to launch and promote new products

- Monitor and report on product performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization

- Perform regular reviews of product features, processes, customer journeys, and documentation to identify potential regulatory gaps and control weaknesses

- Ensure products comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, product governance frameworks, and fair dealing principles

- Conduct gap assessments arising from new regulations, policy changes, audit findings, regulatory reviews, or industry developments and coordinate remediation plans

- Act as the first line of defence for assigned products by identifying, assessing and escalating regulatory, compliance, conduct and operational risks.

Who you are

- A degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in product management, Audit, Compliance, Regulatory Risk, or other related roles within financial services industry

- Strong understanding of the banking industry, regulatory requirements and product governance principles.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, risk, compliance, legal and operations functions.

- Ability to identify risks, challenge existing processes, and recommend practical solutions to strengthen controls and customer outcomes.

- Customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering products and services that meet evolving customer needs.

- Experience in conducting audits, compliance reviews, risk assessments, or regulatory gap analyses.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions

- Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, CAMS or equivalent will be an added advantage.
