JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interview arrangement, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with hiring managers on manpower requirements and recruitment needs.
- Conduct interviews and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
- Maintain recruitment records and candidate database.
2. Payroll & Attendance Administration
- Assist in monthly payroll processing, including salary calculation, overtime, allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Verify employee attendance, leave records, overtime claims, and payroll related information.
- Liaise with relevant parties on payroll and statutory matters including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other applicable requirements.
- Ensure payroll and attendance records are accurate and maintained confidentially.
3. Employee Administration & HR Operations
- Maintain employee records, personal files, HR systems, and documentation.
- Prepare HR letters, memos, announcements, and employment related documents.
- Manage employee movements including confirmation, promotion, transfer, resignation, and termination, show cause.
- Handle employee enquiries relating to HR policies, benefits, leave, attendance, and employment matters.
- Assist in managing employee relations and disciplinary matters.
4. Leave, Attendance & Benefits
- Monitor employee attendance, leave applications, and overtime records.
- Assist in managing employee benefits, claims, and welfare programmes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
5. Foreign Worker Management
- Coordinate foreign worker related matters including work permits, medical examinations, FOMEMA, and other relevant documentation.
- Liaise with government agencies, recruitment agencies, and service providers on foreign worker matters.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor relevant expiry dates.
- Assist with foreign worker accommodation and welfare matters where required.
6. Training & Development
- Coordinate employee training arrangements, schedules, attendance, and documentation.
- Maintain training records and assist with training needs analysis.
- Support HRD Corp related training administration.
- Assist in employee engagement activities and company events.
7. Performance Management & Employee Relations
- Assist in probation, confirmation, performance appraisal, and performance improvement processes.
- Support managers in handling employee performance and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and follow up on employee relations cases.
8. Compliance & HR Reporting
- Ensure HR practices comply with the Employment Act 1955, labour regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
- Prepare HR reports relating to headcount, recruitment, turnover, absenteeism, overtime, and other HR matters.
- Keep updated on relevant changes in employment legislation and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of payroll processing, employment laws, and statutory requirements.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
