Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Medical Education Manager to lead and develop medical education and training programs. The role focuses on product and clinical training, trainer development, and collaboration with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and internal teams to support product knowledge, clinical excellence, and business growth.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Medical Science, Life Science, Aesthetic Medicine or a related field.
• Master’s Degree or relevant professional qualification in a medical, healthcare, scientific or education field will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in medical aesthetics, clinical education, medical device training, pharmaceutical, healthcare or related industries.
• Proven experience in developing and managing medical education, clinical training or professional education programmes.
• Experience in leading or mentoring trainers, educators or clinical teams is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical aesthetic products, treatment protocols and clinical applications.
• Excellent presentation, public speaking, facilitation and communication skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex medical or scientific information effectively.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements, product claims and compliance.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas.

• Comfortable working on weekends or public holidays when required for business events.

• Medical Education Strategy & Program Management
  Develop and implement medical education and training programmes based on business and market needs.
  Lead the planning, development and execution of product training, clinical education programmes, workshops, seminars and professional education events.
  Develop and maintain training materials, clinical protocols, SOPs and assessments.
  Establish training frameworks, competency assessments and performance standards.
  Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback and performance, and recommend improvements.

• Clinical & Product Education
  Oversee theoretical and practical training on medical aesthetic products, treatment protocols, applications and clinical best practices.
  Ensure training content is accurate, evidence-based and up to date.
  Provide medical and clinical support to Sales and Marketing for product launches, presentations, workshops and education events.
  Review scientific literature, clinical evidence and industry developments to ensure relevant product and clinical knowledge.
  Support the development of scientific and educational content for launches, conferences, seminars and workshops.

• Team Leadership & Trainer Development
  Lead, manage and mentor Medical Trainers and other training personnel.
  Coach trainers to improve their presentation, clinical, product knowledge and facilitation skills.
  Monitor trainer performance and support their professional development.
  Coordinate training schedules, resources and manpower.
  Maintain high training standards across the team.

• Key Opinion Leader & Healthcare Professional Engagement
  Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, doctors, healthcare professionals, clinic owners, distributors and external educators.
  Collaborate with healthcare professionals and industry experts for education programmes and clinical workshops.
  Support customer visits, conferences, seminars and professional education events.
  Gather feedback and insights from healthcare professionals to improve training and product education.

• Regulatory & Compliance
  Ensure medical education and training materials comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
  Work closely with Regulatory Affairs on product claims and educational content.
  Ensure training programmes follow appropriate medical, clinical, safety and professional standards.
  Maintain proper training records, attendance, competency assessments and training materials.

• Product Launch & Business Support
  Lead the medical education component of new product launches, including internal briefings, distributor education, workshops and healthcare professional training.
  Work with Product Management to provide clinical and market feedback.
  Support Sales and Marketing with product knowledge, clinical information and education strategies.
  Identify opportunities to strengthen product knowledge, adoption and customer education.

• Market & Industry Development
  Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs and industry developments.
  Stay updated on new technologies, treatment techniques, research and clinical developments.
  Provide relevant recommendations to Management.
  Identify opportunities for medical education and professional development.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Product Management teams.
  Support the development of marketing, educational and scientific materials.
  Ensure consistent product messaging and clinical education across internal and external stakeholders.
  Support Management in business development and strategic projects.

• Reporting & Performance Management
  Prepare reports on training performance, programme effectiveness, customer feedback and education initiatives.
  Monitor training KPIs, competency assessments, participation and outcomes.
  Analyse feedback and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  Recommend improvements to training programmes and processes.

• Other Responsibilities
  Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, seminars, workshops and industry events.
  Travel locally and overseas for training and educational activities when required.
  Be available to work on weekends or public holidays when required for events and training.
  Perform other duties and strategic projects assigned by Management.
