Solar Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and development of mechanical components and systems used in solar energy applications. This includes solar panels, mounting systems, inverters, and other mechanical systems critical to the performance of solar energy installations. Candidates must possess a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, along with knowledge of solar technology and energy systems. The position involves working closely with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, efficient solar solutions. As this field evolves, Solar Mechanical Engineers are expected to stay updated on emerging technologies and innovative design practices to improve system efficiency and reduce costs.

• Design and develop mechanical structures for solar panel systems.

• Conduct thermal and mechanical simulations to assess system performance.

• Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate mechanical designs with electrical components.

• Perform field testing and analysis of solar installations.

• Evaluate and select materials for solar energy systems based on performance and cost.

• Oversee the manufacturing process of mechanical components.

• Prepare technical documentation and reports.

• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure proper execution of design plans.

• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.

• Identify and resolve design flaws or manufacturing issues.
