• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Drafting or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year in mechanical drafting or piping design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
• Candidate with experience dealing in industrial refrigeration, oil & gas, process plants, HVAC, manufacturing or M&E projects is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical challenges.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
• Site Adaptability: Comfortable walking unconditioned, active construction zones for field verification.

• Prepare 2D and 3D piping models using AutoCAD or other approved drafting software.
• Produce drawings, piping layouts, piping isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, spool drawings and detailed shop drawings.
• Prepare equipment layouts and piping routing in accordance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Site Engineers and Production teams regarding drawing requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with company drafting standards, client requirements and relevant engineering codes.

Working Conditions

• Environment: Time divided between an office desk and construction sites.
• Mobility: May require travel & overnights to various regional or overseas project locations.
• Physical Demand: Ability to climb scaffolding and walk rugged site terrain.
• Safety: Wearing full PPE is mandatory during frequent site inspections.
