Basic knowledge of procedures of automotive repair and maintenance.

Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Able to use independent judgment to fix or proffer solution(s) to problem(s) in real time.

Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.

Innovative and ability to learn.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Carry out repair and service of vehicles according to recommended repair and service standards.

Diagnose and detect mechanical faults with vehicles using diagnostic equipment.

Ensure repair and service jobs are performed within time frame indicated to ensure timely completion of repairs and delivery to customer.

Perform quality control check on vehicles to ensure service quality reflecting company brand image.

Ensure proper care of customer vehicles and belongings.

Proper usage and responsible for safekeeping of designated individual tools as provided.

Comply with 5S practice, maintain cleanliness and tidiness of workshop bay and individual tools cabinet at all times.

Comply with all workshop safety standards for protections against accidents, hazardous fluid etc., including performing regular hoist inspection as per requirements and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
