Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification such as MIA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent is required.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably with an audit firm or listed company.

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements and corporate governance practices.

• Good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage.

• A collaborative team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, organised, meticulous and responsible approach to work.

• Able to work independently, manage priorities effectively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, including invoicing, payments, banking and other financial transactions.

• Manage the month-end closing process and prepare monthly management accounts and quarterly financial results for Bursa Malaysia reporting.

• Prepare group consolidation and ensure timely and accurate Bursa Malaysia submissions.

• Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers and relevant authorities on financial and regulatory matters.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare and coordinate financial materials and reports for Board meetings.

Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve financial systems, processes and procedures.
