Interpreter – Mandarin Speaker (Work From Home)

Location: Remote / Work From Home
Project: Healthcare (interpretation between doctors and patients in the United States)

Contract Details

• Position: Interpretation Support (Mandarin Speakers)

• Contract Duration: 6 months, extendable up to 12 months

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Off Days: Saturday & Sunday

• Shift Timing: Night Shift (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

• Education: SPM or Diploma holders

• Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome

• Compensation: Based on experience, plus:

  • Night Shift Allowance

  • Internet Allowance

  • Performance Allowance

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate meaning-for-meaning interpretation between Mandarin and English.

• Support communication between healthcare professionals and patients.

• Follow interpreter protocols, policies, and procedures.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to interpreter ethics.

• Attend mandatory training sessions.

Required Skills

Fluent in Mandarin & English
Strong verbal communication skills in both languages
Basic understanding of linguistics and cultural differences
Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
Ability to remain calm and effective during emergency situations
