Role Description The English Trainer (Sec 1 to Sec 3) will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned English lessons to secondary students, focusing on language proficiency, critical reading, and effective writing skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, preparing teaching materials, conducting classroom sessions, and providing constructive feedback on student work. The trainer will assess student progress, adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning needs, and maintain clear communication with school staff and coordinators. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Singapore, requiring regular presence at designated school locations and adherence to institutional schedules and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong English Teaching, Language Teaching, and Teaching skills relevant to Sec 1 to Sec 3 learners.
• Sound understanding of Education principles and classroom management for lower secondary students.
• Ability to design and deliver clear, impactful Writing activities and assignments.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching qualifications or certifications are an advantage.
• Experience teaching secondary-level English in a school or tuition setting, preferably in Singapore or similar contexts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability in lesson preparation, and adherence to academic schedules and guidelines.
• Familiarity with blended learning approaches and use of educational technology is beneficial.
