The successful candidate will be based in Malaysia and support the firm's marketing initiatives and operations across the Asia Pacific region.

Overview

A Marketing and Operations Executive at Sandpiper supports the delivery of the firm’s marketing activity and day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Group Operations and Marketing Manager, the role combines hands-on marketing execution with operational and administrative coordination.

Approximately two-thirds of the role focuses on marketing, including HubSpot, B2B lead generation, LinkedIn, newsletters and performance reporting. The remaining third focuses on operational processes and office administration.

Marketing and business development support

• Maintain accurate client and prospect records in HubSpot, and support colleagues with day-to-day enquiries about the platform.
• Support B2B lead generation by building and cleaning prospect lists, uploading and segmenting leads in HubSpot, and flagging engaged leads to the business development team.
• Coordinate Sandpiper’s LinkedIn content calendar, scheduling, publishing and performance tracking.
• Support the set-up and day-to-day coordination of paid social campaigns as required.
• Support the preparation and distribution of company newsletters and other mass communications.
• Monitor industry events, awards and newsletters, and share relevant updates with the team regularly.
• Prepare the weekly marketing report covering pipeline, LinkedIn, newsletter and campaign performance.

Operations and administration

• Support day-to-day operational processes, trackers and recurring reporting as directed.
• Maintain Excel trackers for tools and subscriptions, including costs, owners and renewal dates.
• Coordinate office supplies, vendors, cleaning services, mail and facilities matters.
• Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.

Requirements

• A fresh graduate or someone with up to two years of work experience; applicants from any field are welcome.
• A degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field is helpful but not essential.
• A willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a practical approach to completing tasks.
• Confidence using Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to balance recurring tasks and ad hoc requests.
• A proactive, curious approach and a willingness to support colleagues across marketing, operations and administration.
• Experience in working in an agency is a plus
