Job Description (Core Responsibilities):

We are seeking a meticulous and driven QA/QC professional to oversee the quality standards of our facade and aluminium fabrication and installation processes. You will divide your time between our Rawang facility and active project sites to ensure top-tier structural integrity and compliance.

• Incoming Material Inspection: Check and verify that all raw materials (aluminium extrusions, hardware, and glass panels) delivered to the Rawang facility meet order specifications and thickness tolerances.
• In-Process Quality Control: Monitor the fabrication process (cutting, punching, assembly) in the factory to ensure structural integrity and precise dimensions.
• Site Deployment Inspections: Inspect on-site installations for proper alignment, anchoring, sealant application, and water tightness.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly quality inspection reports, maintain the QA/QC logbook, and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when defects are found, following up until corrective actions are fully implemented.
• Testing Coordination: Assist in coordinating structural, wind-load, or water-penetration tests for facade mock-ups when required by project consultants.

Job Requirements (Qualifications & Skills):

• Education & Experience: Possession of a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 1–3 years of working experience specifically in facade fabrication, curtain walls, cladding, or aluminium and glass installations.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of aluminium architectural systems, glass types (tempered, laminated, low-E), sealants, and waterproofing methods. Ability to read and interpret technical shop drawings, structural blueprints, and fabrication architectural details.
• Standards & Compliance: Familiarity with relevant building codes and QA/QC inspection standards (such as SIRIM, CIDB, or British/American standards for facade testing).
• Quality Tools: Experience handling precision measurement tools (micrometers, coating thickness gauges, protractors) and managing QA/QC documentation, including material mill certificates and NCRs.
• Soft Skills & Mobility: Strong attention to detail, firm problem-solving skills, and a valid driver's license with a willingness to travel between the Rawang factory/office and various project sites.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
