Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on and analytical Process Engineer to improve chemical manufacturing processes, support new product scale-up, and ensure production meets quality, safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, improve and scale up chemical mixing and production processes.
- Support the transfer of new materials from laboratory/pilot scale to mass production.
- Monitor production data and identify process issues, bottlenecks and improvement areas.
- Conduct troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for process deviations.
- Prepare and update Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs.
- Support equipment setup, commissioning and process improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, chemical handling and environmental requirements.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, process control plans and technical documents.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and other teams to improve process performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in chemical manufacturing, wet chemistry or high-purity materials.
- Knowledge of DOE, statistical analysis and process control.
- Experience with Minitab, JMP or similar statistical tools is an advantage.
- Good understanding of chemical mixing, fluid dynamics and process scale-up.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
Experience:
- Process Engineer: 2 years (Preferred)
