About the Roles

Join a Building Construction company as a Design Manager based in Serangoon. This is a permanent position working 5.5 days per week, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturday from 8.30am to 12.30pm, with a Basic + VB salary package.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare façade shop drawings, design sketches, and fabrication drawings.
• Review structural and architectural drawings to identify design issues or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, architects, and consultants on design and technical matters.
• Attend design meetings to address issues, present design proposals, and prepare meeting minutes.
• Raise RFIs for design or technical matters when necessary.
• Submit shop drawings and follow up on approvals.
• Monitor shop drawing submissions and approval schedules.
• Prepare and submit material samples and follow up until approval.
• Monitor design changes and additional work scope.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
• Assist the project team in resolving site issues when required.
• Report to the Design Manager or Team Leader.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 8 years of experience in façade design.
• Familiar with curtain wall systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to manage tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience:

License/Certification:

• permanent working rights with no restrictions in singapore (Preferred)
