- Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps, including build, automated test, containerisation, security scanning, rollback and progressive deployment strategies.
- Set and enforce infrastructure-as-code standards (Terraform / Ansible), GitOps practices, and Helm-based release management to prevent configuration sprawl across sites.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, patching and updates; write Python and scripting to automate operational tasks and data movement between machines, subsystems and the MES.
- Establish observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/CloudWatch) and lead monitoring, alerting, incident response and root-cause analysis to ensure high availability of production-critical MES services.
- Work closely with developers, QA, and other teams to improve the Application & MES platform and support daily production needs.
- Ensure all deployments and infrastructure changes meet cybersecurity, audit and regulatory standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST CSF, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) with proper documentation and change control.
- Lead containerisation and integration of MES with SAP, machines, data loggers, middleware, ETLs, data lake and dashboards, ensuring reliable real-time and batch data flows.
- Lead or govern upgrades, migrations and new VMES site rollouts, integrating new manufacturing capabilities and technologies (APS, QMS, IIoT, analytics/AI).
- Act as the DevOps technical authority in vendor and system-integrator engagements, validating deliverables through architecture, performance and security reviews.

- Experience with system architecture relevant to Univac Singapore and the Venture MES group — MES/MOM platforms, SAP–MES integration, ISA-95 / ISA-88 frameworks, and machine/IIoT data integration.
- Programming/scripting in Python, C#, C++, React.js, Node.js, and PLC programming; knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL and YAML is required.
- Experience with dashboarding (Apache Superset, Power BI), data lake (MinIO + Trino SQL), observability tooling and middleware for IoT data integration is an advantage.
- Analytical, meticulous, strong troubleshooting; able to communicate with people at all levels and influence stakeholders.
