We are partnering with an established energy company to recruit a
Senior Finance Executive
to oversee end-to-end finance operations across Purchase to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C). The successful candidate will support financial reporting, tax compliance and process improvements while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and adherence to internal controls.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end P2P activities, including vendor master data maintenance, vendor bank account validation, financial assessments and timely processing of purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices.
Coordinate weekly bulk payment runs, exceptional payment approvals, corporate card administration, and employee expense claims and reimbursements.
Perform accounts payable (AP) reconciliations, prepare AP ageing reports and balance sheet schedules, resolve invoice processing issues, and support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
Oversee O2C activities, including customer credit assessments, customer and product master data maintenance, new bank onboarding, manual and intercompany billing, and resolution of billing discrepancies.
Support credit control and receivables management, ensuring timely collections and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Prepare accounts receivable (AR) ageing reports and balance sheet reconciliations, and resolve issues arising during monthly closing.
Prepare quarterly GST returns for IRAS, provide guidance on input and output tax, ensure GST compliance, and lead the renewal of the Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP).
Ensure timely submission of statutory declarations and coordinate periodic audits with relevant stakeholders.
Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with financial policies, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline P2P and O2C processes, strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency through automation.
Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and other ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
Degree, diploma or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
Good understanding of P2P, O2C, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
Familiarity with reporting software such as Tagetik will be an advantage.
Knowledge of GST compliance, financial controls and regulatory reporting is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Self-motivated, proactive and organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Demonstrates initiative, accountability and a continuous improvement mindset.
