• Position Offered: Site Safety Supervisor cum Authorized Gas Tester Entry Supervisor
• Contract Period: Six (6) months
• Basic Salary: RM9,000.00 per month
• Date of Commencement: As soon as possible
• Working Hours:
• Sunday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Half-day)
• Saturday: Rest day

Job Description:

1. Act as an Authorised Gas Tester (AGT) by conducting gas testing, atmospheric monitoring, and ensuring safe entry into confined spaces.

2. Act as an Entry Supervisor (ES) by verifying permits and ensuring all safety controls are in place before confined space work begins.

3. Ensure compliance with DOSH Confined Space Regulations, ICOP 2010, and other applicable safety requirements.

4. Maintain accurate records of confined space entry permits, gas test results, and entry logs.

5. Support emergency preparedness activities and coordinate rescue arrangements during confined space work.

6. Monitor day-to-day safety activities at project and maintenance sites.

7. Ensure all contractors and employees comply with safety procedures, Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements, and company safety rules.

8. Conduct regular site safety inspections and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards to the EHS team.

9. Assist in the preparation and review of Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments (RA), and other safety documentation.

10. Liaise with contractors, project teams, and operation teams to implement effective safety control measures.

11. Prepare weekly reports on confined space activities, site safety observations, and compliance status.

12. Participate in incident investigations and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Job Requirements:

1. Must possess a valid Yellow Book recognized by DOSH.

2. Must possess a valid Authorised Gas Tester (AGT) and Entry Supervisor (ES) certification recognized by DOSH.

3. Minimum 1 years of working experience in confined space safety, project safety, or industrial safety operations will be an added advantage.

4. Good knowledge of DOSH regulations, Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, Risk Assessment (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and confined space procedures.

5. Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pay: Up to RM90,000.00 per month

• Pasir Gudang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
