Job Purpose

The Coordinator, Resource Wellness Centre (RWC) provides national-level oversight, coordination, and quality assurance for NCSM’s wellbeing programmes across all states. This includes weekly Wellness Classes, annual Wellness Workshops, and cancer support groups, ensuring consistent delivery, governance compliance, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement aligned with NCSM standards and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Programme Oversight & Governance

  • Provide overall national oversight of Resource Wellness Centre programmes, including Wellness Classes, Wellness Workshops, and Support Groups across all states.
  • Ensure all programmes are implemented in accordance with approved SOPs, ethical standards, and NCSM policies.
  • Set minimum delivery standards, quality expectations, and operational benchmarks for wellbeing programmes.
  • Act as the escalation point for programme-related risks, non-compliance, or implementation challenges.

2. Oversight of Wellness Classes (Weekly, State-Based)

  • Oversee the implementation of weekly Wellness Classes across states, ensuring adherence to the Mind–Body–Soul framework.
  • Review and monitor state-level class schedules, attendance reports, and delivery consistency submitted by PHPOs.
  • Identify trends related to participation, tutor performance, cancellations, or operational gaps.
  • Guide corrective actions and support state teams in addressing delivery, safety, or attendance issues.

3. Oversight of Wellness Workshops (Annual, Thematic)

  • Oversee the planning and delivery of three (3) Wellness Workshops annually (Mind, Body, Soul) across states.
  • Confirm that workshop plans meet thematic, quality, and frequency requirements.
  • Review workshop reports, attendance outcomes, participant feedback, and operational notes.
  • Support standardisation of workshop quality while allowing appropriate state-level adaptation.

4. Support Group Programme Oversight

  • Provide governance and coordination oversight for cancer support groups operating across multiple states.
  • Ensure support group activities meet minimum session requirements and ethical and confidentiality standards.
  • Monitor reporting, documentation, and compliance of support group activities.
  • Support resolution of operational challenges faced by Support Group Coordinators and state teams.

5. Stakeholder Management & Coordination

  • Act as the central coordination point between PHPOs, State Assistant Managers, tutors, facilitators, Support Group Coordinators, and internal NCSM teams.
  • Maintain clear communication of programme expectations, standards, and timelines across states.
  • Coordinate briefings, follow-ups, and issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster collaborative working relationships to support consistent programme delivery nationwide.

6. Office, Administrative & Operational Management

  • Maintain central tracking of programme schedules, attendance submissions, and reporting across all states.
  • Ensure timely submission and completeness of required documentation and internal approvals.
  • Coordinate with finance teams on tutor payment accountability based on verified delivery and attendance reports.

7. Monitoring, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Review monthly and annual reports to monitor programme performance and participation trends.
  • Analyse feedback and implementation data to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend and support programme improvements to enhance quality, reach, and participant experience.
  • Contribute to the refinement of SOPs, tools, and reporting processes where required.

8. Risk Management, Ethics & Compliance

  • Monitor and address risks related to participant safety, programme delivery, or non-compliance.
  • Ensure confidentiality, ethical conduct, and professional standards are upheld across all programmes.
  • Respond promptly to escalations related to incidents, complaints, or breaches of SOPs.
  • Ensure programmes avoid unapproved medical advice, health claims, or inappropriate promotion.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Healthcare, Social Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
