About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our Data Center Construction team in Singapore. This is an individual contributor role responsible for establishing and managing project cost control systems across large-scale data center developments. The successful candidate will partner closely with Design, Engineering, Project Management, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction cost control systems, processes, and reporting standards.
• Lead project budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis across multiple projects.
• Prepare executive-level cost reports and financial performance updates.
• Manage project commitments, expenditures, cash flow forecasting, and cost coding structures.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Identify project risks and opportunities and assess their financial impact.
• Drive benchmarking initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve project performance.
• Review contractor cost proposals, change orders, and payment applications.
• Ensure disciplined change management and audit compliance throughout project delivery.
• Analyze large datasets using Excel and other Microsoft tools to support business decision-making.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 7-10 years of experience in construction cost management, commercial management, or project controls.
• Experience within Data Center, Mission Critical, Industrial, Infrastructure, or large-scale Construction environments is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the complete construction project lifecycle, from pre-design through project closeout.
• Experience managing budgets, cost forecasts, commitments, and expenditures on major engineering or construction projects.
• Proficiency with construction cost management and accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze large datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
