Radiographer Job Requirement

• Possess Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging
• Minimum 1 to 2 year working experience in a hospital settings
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient written and speaking in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Valid annual practicing certificate where applicable

Job Scope

• Able to carry out radiography procedures independently covering General x-rays, Mobile X-rays, OT procedures, CT-scans, MRI, able to handle Cath Lab Procedures and Mammography will be added as advantage
• Ensure patients understand requisitions of procedures
• Ensure equipment is regularly checked and any fault/malfunctions are reported and rectified.
• On-Call duties after office hours as scheduled
• Assisting in more complex/ special radiological examinations working with doctors such as radiologists and surgeons.
• Assess patients and their clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic techniques to produce high-quality/ diagnostic value images.
• Observing and maintaining contact with patients during their waiting and examination stay in the department; providing support and reassurance to patients, taking into account their physical and psychological needs.
