Shape the Financial Future of an Emerging Space-Tech Company

OculloSpace is seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our fundraising, capital strategy and financial leadership as we enter our next phase of growth.

Headquartered in Singapore, OculloSpace is an emerging space education and innovation company building real hardware, space missions and talent development platforms across ASEAN and the Gulf region.

Our activities span multiple areas of the space industry, including:

• Satellite Missions & Technology: DecimalSat-1, launched aboard SpaceX, with DecimalSat-2 and future PocketQube constellation initiatives in development.
• Rocketry & Launch Development: AZAD / Project Karman-X1 sounding rocket programme, in collaboration with regional partners at Etlaq Spaceport, Oman.
• Space Education & Innovation: NASA HUNCH-aligned STEM, academy and educational programmes.
• Commercial & Strategic Partnerships: Developing opportunities across satellite solutions, education platforms, technology initiatives and international partnerships.

With our headquarters in Singapore and expanding activities in Abu Dhabi / UAE, we are strengthening our financial and investment capabilities to support our international expansion.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a CFO who can go beyond traditional financial management.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in shaping our capital strategy, securing funding, developing investment opportunities and translating our technical and commercial activities into compelling financial propositions.

Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, the CFO will work closely with the leadership team and play a central role in positioning OculloSpace for sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Fundraising & Capital Strategy

• Lead fundraising initiatives across equity financing, grants, strategic investments, co-investment and other non-dilutive funding opportunities.
• Develop and execute the company's funding strategy, including investor engagement, pitch materials, financial presentations, data rooms and term discussions.
• Identify and establish relationships with investors, family offices, strategic corporates and relevant funding institutions.

2. Financial Modelling & Commercial Strategy

• Develop and maintain robust financial models, forecasts, cash flow projections, unit economics and business cases.
• Evaluate commercial opportunities across satellite missions, space education, technology solutions and strategic partnerships.
• Develop revenue models, investment scenarios and financial strategies to support business expansion.

3. Financial Planning & Corporate Governance

• Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, cash flow and runway management.
• Oversee financial operations, reporting, internal controls, compliance and financial governance.
• Manage financial considerations across multiple jurisdictions and corporate entities, including Singapore, UAE, ASEAN and the US, where applicable.

4. Investor Relations & Strategic Leadership

• Lead investor relations, board-level financial reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Support due diligence, investment structuring and strategic partnership negotiations.
• Work closely with the Founder & CEO on capital allocation, pricing, growth strategies and business development decisions.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Significant experience as a CFO, Finance Director or senior finance executive within a growth-stage technology, deep-tech, space, education or hardware-enabled business.
• Demonstrated track record in successfully closing fundraising transactions, securing institutional investments, raising equity capital, obtaining grants or leading significant strategic financing initiatives.
• Strong financial modelling, commercial analysis and business planning capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage investors, financial institutions, corporate partners and government stakeholders.
• Experience managing multi-country or multi-entity financial operations, preferably involving Singapore, UAE/Gulf, ASEAN or US markets.
• Strong understanding of startup finance, capital allocation, cash flow management and growth-stage financial planning.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline. CPA, CFA or equivalent professional qualifications are advantageous.
• Ability to operate effectively in a founder-led, entrepreneurial and execution-oriented environment.
  

ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE

• Exposure to the space, satellite, aerospace, rocketry, STEM education or deep-tech industries.
• Experience with Singapore government grants, UAE/Gulf investment ecosystems or international funding programmes.
• Experience managing businesses with both commercial and mission-driven revenue models.
• Established networks with venture capital firms, family offices, strategic investors and government funding agencies across Singapore, ASEAN or the Gulf region.
