Job Summary
Lead Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking implementations by analyzing business requirements, customizing modules, and supporting testing to deliver effective banking solutions aligned with client needs.
Responsibilities
Analyze and translate banking business requirements into effective Oracle FLEXCUBE system solutions
Develop, customize, and configure Oracle FLEXCUBE modules, workflows, and functionalities using Flexcube development tools
Write detailed Business Requirement Documents and functional specifications to guide development and testing
Support product parameterization, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for various FLEXCUBE modules
Create detailed designs and technical specifications for customizations, including effort estimation
Provide functional consulting and guidance to business stakeholders and end-users on FLEXCUBE capabilities and best practices
Develop and maintain integrations between FLEXCUBE and third-party applications using web services and APIs
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle FLEXCUBE, Oracle PL/SQL, WebLogic server, and Oracle Database
Document technical specifications, configurations, and customizations to maintain knowledge repositories
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users, and external vendors to address issues and deliver solutions
Adapt to changing business priorities and learn new technologies related to FLEXCUBE development and consulting
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards, and quality best practices in all deliverables
Required competencies and certifications
Minimum 8 years of extensive experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking system implementations
Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and WebLogic server deployments
Strong knowledge of banking processes, domain, and practices relevant to core banking systems
Experience with FLEXCUBE modules such as CASA, CORE, CL, OBPM, OBCL, Loan Origination, ELCM, 8C, LC & EOC, ATM
Effective communication and documentation skills to engage with both business and technical stakeholders
Experience in writing Business Requirement Documents and functional specifications
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Banking, Commerce, or Management
Experience with FLEXCUBE web services and integration with third-party applications
Exposure to installation, configuration, and functional knowledge of at least two new FLEXCUBE products such as OBPM, OBCFPM, OBTFPM, OBLM, OBCL, OBCLPM, OBSCF, OBVAM
Knowledge of accounting, report generation, and transaction flows within banking systems
Experience in stakeholder management at business and technical levels
Exposure to integrations with external parties and understanding of core banking processes and applications
