Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Singapore. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents for construction projects. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project costs, performing cost analysis, tracking variations, and preparing interim and final payment claims. The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, evaluating quotations, and supporting contract negotiations. The Quantity Surveyor will also maintain accurate cost records, produce regular cost reports, and contribute to value engineering and budget optimization while ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications

• Cost planning and cost management skills, including experience in budgeting, forecasting, and value engineering.
• Cost control and cost reporting skills, with the ability to monitor expenditure, prepare financial reports, and support decision-making.
• Strong competency in preparing and reviewing BOQ and other tender documentation.
• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of local construction standards, contracts, and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
• Proficiency with quantity surveying and cost management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Effective analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in building and civil engineering projects; experience with additions, alterations, and upgrading works is an advantage.
