About Lyssara Movement

Born to move. Built to grow.

At Lyssara Movement, we're bringing together the effortless energy of Australian wellness culture and the sophistication of European boutique studios to create a fresh Pilates experience in Malaysia.

Our first studio in Bandar Rimbayu is just the beginning. We have ambitious plans to expand across Malaysia, and we're looking for passionate people who want to help us build something special.

The Opportunity

Your next Pilates studio should inspire you as much as you inspire your clients.

We're looking for Certified Pilates Instructors to join our founding team and deliver exceptional Pilates experiences to our growing community.

Whether you're looking to teach a few classes each week or take on a more substantial schedule, we'd love to connect with passionate instructors who bring expertise, personality and positive energy to every session.

You'll have the opportunity to help shape our class offerings, contribute your ideas and grow alongside Lyssara as we expand.

What You'll Do

• Pilates Instruction: Deliver engaging, safe and high-quality Pilates classes across Reformer, Tower, Chair and Mat, as well as private sessions, within your certified competencies.
• Client Experience: Create a welcoming, motivating environment where clients feel supported, confident and inspired.
• Personalised Teaching: Adapt exercises to different abilities, fitness levels and individual goals.
• Professional Standards: Maintain excellent teaching techniques, equipment safety and studio standards.
• Community Engagement: Build positive relationships with clients and encourage a strong sense of community.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Studio Manager and fellow instructors to deliver a consistent client experience.
• Creativity & Growth: Contribute ideas for new classes, workshops and specialist programmes.

What We're Looking For

• Recognised Pilates teaching certification from an established provider, such as STOTT PILATES, BASI, Balanced Body, Polestar or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of professional Pilates teaching experience in a studio.
• Relevant apparatus certification for the classes you intend to teach.
• Strong knowledge of Pilates principles, anatomy, movement and exercise modifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, professional and engaging teaching style.
• Passion for client development, wellbeing and movement.
• Reliable, organised and comfortable working collaboratively.
• Flexibility to teach mornings, evenings or weekends based on agreed availability.
• Experience teaching private sessions, athletes or specialised classes is an advantage.

Don't tick every box? If you're an experienced Pilates instructor with a different training background or specialist expertise, we'd still love to hear from you. We value diverse teaching styles, transferable skills and a genuine passion for movement. Appropriate teaching certification remains essential.

Work Authorisation: Unfortunately, we're unable to sponsor work permits at this time. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Malaysia.

Our Culture & Values

We're building our culture around five principles:

People First. Passion for Movement. Grow Together. Own It. Bring Your Energy.

We value collaboration, individuality, accountability and people who genuinely care about the experience they create for others.

Why Join Lyssara?

This is your opportunity to be part of our founding instructor team, bring your teaching style to a new Pilates community and grow alongside a brand with ambitions to expand across Malaysia.

Your expertise will be valued, your ideas will matter and you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a studio that celebrates both movement and individuality.

Send us your CV, Pilates certifications and a short introduction about yourself, including your preferred teaching formats and availability.
